New this year to Tumwata - Coach Renee Long will be leading student athletes on running courses thru town and neighboring countrysides.
Begins September 10 - 4:00-5:30

Meets end at various times, based on number of athletes participating.
Athletes will depart TMS by bus at 3:15 and head to their meet.
Athletes may be picked up at the meet location but must check out with the coach.
Athletes can also ride the bus back to GARDINER MS and be picked up there by a parent.

At Tumwata we encourage our students to improve their athletic skills and make new friends by participating in sports.
TUMWATA school sports include Cross Country (NEW), Wrestling, Dance and Track & Field. No previous experience is necessary to participate.
Tumwata sports require the following before being cleared to participate:
$75 Fee
Current Sports Physical - good for 2 years (Spanish & Russian)
Proof of Medical Insurance - (Section on registration form)
Please Note:
Please indicate on the registration form if your student will need to ride the activity bus on Tuesday/Thursday
Athletes will need to arrange their own transportation if they stay to participate on Mondays or Fridays
ALL Sports and ASA’s end promptly at 5:30 pm
Parent/Guardian provided rides need to be here no later than 5:35 pm
Athletes still here at that time may be placed on the activity bus to go home
Students not involved in a Sport or ASA need to go home immediately after the final school bell. There is no adult supervision provided for extra students
Student spectators staying or returning for a game/meet must have their own adult supervision. School staff is no longer responsible for non-athlete students during these times.
